After a solid first half, the Brown defense could not stop Nick Schweiger, the Ivy League's leading rusher. He ended the day with 137 yards.
Brown's offense never seemed in sync. No identity was ever established and in the fourth quarter, a drive for the go-ahead score ended with an interception in the end zone. Dartmouth ran out the clock from that point.
Harvard, Yale and Cornell all seemed well on their ways to victory.
